Guide To Install An Inground Basketball Goal In A Three Step Simple Process
If you are anything like me, you are becoming annoyed of having to go to your neighborhood park or to a gymnasium close to you to play basketball and practice your jump shot. The best way to solve this problem is by taking a look at basketball goals for sale. There are a lot of choices on the market, but we think that for stability reasons, inground basketball goals are the best. If you would like to to purchase one but don't know how to install it, you will learn in this article.
1-Buy all your supplies
The primary thing you need to do (besides purchasing the basketball hoop) is to buy all your supplies. You should have around 800 to 900 pounds of dry concrete mixture. Once you get the mixture, you should get a simple leveler, a wheel barrow, some screw drivers, ladder, a measuring tape, a lot of water, oh and perhaps a friend to give you a hand!
2-Dig the hole and fill it with concrete
Once you have your supplies gathered up, the next thing you want to do is dig up a 2x2 feet hole. Once you get the hole dug up, I want you to take your concrete mix and start to create the mixture. Once you have it created, fill the hole with concrete and place the basketball poll in of the wet concrete. Make sure the basketball pole is in a straight line by using the leveler. It should take about two days for the concrete to fully dry.
3-Assemble the rest of the hoop
This step is the simplest and if you have made it past the first two or so methods then this one should be very easy. All you have to do is go on with building the basketball hoop. Usually the polls come in two or three separate polls. Get all the parts put together and set up the backboard on the pole and the rim onto the backboard.
